Hello!

So I created this community almost a year ago... and then didn't do much more than that. I could give you all of my excuses, but what's the point?

So let's start 2018 off right!

REC ME YOUR FAVOURITE RESOURCE MAKER

Be it textures, screencaps, brushes, bases - anything. We all have that one folder of all of our favourite graphics resources - so let me (and everyone else reading this) know who your favourite maker is.

Personally, I love using lookslikerain/'s textures for my icons. Their textures are colourful, diverse and never, ever boring. They're great for fake backgrounds and I love making icons with fake backgrounds...

Oh, yeah, and to browse old posts, a photobucket plugin will always come in handy: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/photobucket-fix/ (this link also has versions for other browsers, under "read more") - maybe this link would be good to have in some central place?

Oh, thanks for the photobucket plugin link! I'm sure that a lot of people have been quietly (and not so quietly) cursing photobucket for the stunt they pulled. (I'll see about putting it somewhere permanently - maybe the profile for easy access and so it can be seen by everyone.)

Definitely bookmarking the midnight_road link, too. They also have really good screencaps up.

2 of my favourite icon texture makers are
wolfbane_icons and tiger_tutorials
I've got more in my resources posts but I probably have the most downloaded/used ones from those makers. I also like frames and text textures but there aren't so many of those around though I have got a small collection :)

I know wolfsbane_icons, but not tiger_tutorials - it definitely looks like my kind of place though.

I'm on the wrong computer right now, but I'll make a note to check if I find any good frames or text textures on my graphics drive.

Hi!

I'm late as usual, and some of my favorite texture-makers have already been mentioned—I use lookslikerain and wolfbane-icons' textures a lot. Another favorite of mine is bourniio.
